Theprincipalreasonforjoiningstillseems tobe throughancestryalthoughwe havestudentswhojoinand generally
leave once their studies are complete.Attractingthose who have discovereda connectionwith the campaign remains
a focus, the challenge is to retain them.
It is throughcommunicationsthatwe have managedto maintainour reachand explainour relevanceand the level of
impact we have on those who engage with us.I remain hugelygratefulto the small Comms Group - withoutthem our
good work could easily be missed.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

Financial Results and Reserve Policy

We have movedon from the Covidpandemicandhave been ableto conducta fullprogrammebutthishas increased
our expenditure and the Trustees are very alive to how this has affected our balance sheet.
TheAssociation'smainincomesourcecontinuedtobemembershipfees,£16,848in2022(2021: £19,549).
Supplementing this the Association has been fortunate in receiving a further £1,433 during 2022 in donations.

decrease in value and the market valuations are kept under strict scrutiny.

is the 2021 balance of £233,445 less the deficit for the year of £33,052.
But this does mean the Trustees need to considerhow fundingcan be improvedin 2023 and beyond. This is a priority
for our consideration.
