Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The charity provides a venue for various clubs and associations to be carried out thus enabling members of the community to participate in such activities, including.
- Hermitage Pre school - Newbury and district dog classes - Dance classes - Seated exercise class for over 65’s - Horticultural Society meetings - Wine circle - Boxing club - Judo - Karate - Yoga - Polling Station
The community joined forces in June to hold a family fun day to commemorate our late Queens Jubilee. It was wonderful to be able to offer our great village hall to host the celebrations of a most historical event!
We invited The Watermill outdoor theatre group to put on a performance of Camp Albion, the story of the Newbury bypass in 1995. The weather was not kind but it was great to see a full house!
