Activities

We provide a Food Bank, Welfare Rights, Citizens Advice, and Job Search.Courses to help people to gain access to work. Section activities,Spiritualists, Drama, Dancing for adults/youth, Gentle Exercise, Toddler Group, Beading Class Tae kwondo, Zumba Classes, Gym and a Junior/senior Theatre Group. Room hire is also available to external groups. We also have a variety of fitness classes

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Establish And Run A Community Building And To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Stanley And The Surrounding Area ("area Of Benefit") Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age, Disability, Nationality, Race Or Political, Religious Or Other Opinions The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008]
