Governing Document The Charity's Declaration of trust is dated 2. December 2013. Activities of the Charity To develop the land, buildings and youth centre of the former Reydon High School site to provide playing fields and a sports and community centre Organisation The Trust is administered by the Trustees who shall not exceed six in number nor less than two. Day to day activities are managed by a Management Committee that includes Trustees, User Group representalives and Co-opted members. RF.YDON PLAI"ING FIF.LDS CHARITY istered Chari No. 1154837 REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENT For th¢ year ended 30th September 2025 G¢n¢ral Information Reydon Playing Fields Charit), was created by the original eommllnit>' group formed to I2￿e over the Use of the playing field site when Reydon High School closed in 1990. The Charity was fonnally registered with the Charity Commission in 2013 and included the site, funds and ownership of the fornier school playing field. Considerable fund raising has been achieved over a 30-year period to replace the forn]er school buildings with a neiv sports and community pavilion and to extend the original playing field with more sports pitches. Project Update The additional playing field land was purchased in 2013 and preparation of the new sports pitches completed in 2015. Work to build a new Sports and Community Pavilion was agreed between the Charity, Suffolk County Council and Orwell Homes on a site access. additional parking and the position of the new building. Planning permission for the new facilities was granted in September 2015. The fomier school and youth club buildings were demolished in January 2017 and the new a¢¢ess road ¢onstru¢ted. Site work to prepare for the new pavilion was 8tt]rted in 2016 and the basic weathetyroof pavilion structure was completed in 2017. Internal fitting out of the new pavilion continued in 2018 and 2019 and it had been planned to open Phase l of the paiiilion for community use during 2020 but due to the COVID restrictions this has had to be delayed. The new pavilion was forn￿lIy opened in 2022 and named as Reydon Sports & Community Centre. The priority for the charity is to secure funding to complete the sports changing rooms to provide the full potential community use of the site.

The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2} of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act}} and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to: Examine the a¢counts (under section 43(3)(a) of the Act) Follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Comrnissioners (under section 43(7){b) of the Act; and State whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner" s report My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosure in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not proN'ide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express and audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
