Activities

Woodie's Wings rescues pet parrots, owls and any other type of birds from members of the public and other organisations and keeps them for the rest of their natural life. They raise funds for the food and veterinary fees by attending shows and doing talks in a wide variety of different areas.

Objects: 1. For The Benefit Of The Public To Relieve The Suffering Of Birds In Need Of Care And Attention And In Particular To Provide And Maintain Rescue Facilities For The Reception, Care And Treatment Of Such Animals2. To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Animals, In Particular Birds, By Providing Appropriate Care, Protection, Treatment And Security For Birds Which Are In Need Of Care And Attention By Reason Of Sickness, Poor Circumstances Or Neglect And To Educate The Public In Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals, Particularly Birds
