Slough Foodbank re￿1￿ 87 tonnes of fc(xl and toiletries donations from local churches. schools, shops, ￿￿'neSseS, and pnvate donats'ons. o)mpared to 96 tonnes of foc¥J and loil6tries donation$ during 2022. During 2023, Slough Foodbank operated fve distribution ￿ntre$ one of which opened a week, the remainder opened once a week. One of the distribution centres opens on a Saturday. Slough Focmybank prowded 11,300 emergency focrtl parcels during 2023 compared to 9,322 in 2022 and 7,365 in 2021. These fc¥)d par￿8 helped feed many Feople, 4.129 of these were children. Unfortunately, this increase continues the rise seen in ￿nI years as shown in the fdlowing Table. Expenditure from this fund during 2023 was £11.1k on payments to Charis Grants to support Fuel Vouchers, matched the in(x)me over the course of the year. The FINANCIAL INCLUSION PROJECT FUND {FIP} was initsated in response to a gr8nt from the Tru&8ell Tru. of which £44k was restricled to a three-year project. This allowed the trustees to niti'gate the risk of being given notice If the current landlords Circumstan￿ change.
