Para 1.20 | Despite the financial crisis and the greater need for our service with the public having to relinquish their pets, we have managed to support many parrots to stay in their own home with financial support. Where this has not been possible we have been able to rescue and rehome birds throughout this year but the numbers of parrots we are able to help has reduced and we has to stop taking in birds at some points through the year due to financial pressures and the reduction of volunteers due to the cost of living and people not being willing to support. |
