Alms and Objectives The maintenance and improvement of the physical well being of persons resident ill Bristol and the surrounding neighbourhood by the provision of facilities for physical training and recreation. Public Beneflt Statement The charity trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their powers and duties. Achievements and Performance The charity continues lo fulfil ils charitable objectives by the provision of facilities for physical training and recreation. Flnanclal Review The charity held £8,434,584 in reserves at the balance sheet date. structure, Governance and Review Governing Document The organisation is a charity company limited by guarantee, incorporated on 23 February 2011 and registered as a charity on 8 July 2013. The company was established under Articles of Association which established the objectives and powers of the charitable company and is governed by its Articles of Association. In the event of the company b8ing wound up members are required to contribute an amount not exceeding £1 Appointment of Trustees The directors of the company are also charity Iruslees for the purposes ol charity law. Under the requirements of the Articles of Association, Trustees shall be appointed by resolution of the Trustees. Every Trustee will hold office unlil they vacate office in accordance with Article 8.7 of the Articles of Association. All members of the Board give their lime voluntarily and reiVed no benefits from the charity.

The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audit under company law and is eligible for independent examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act., to follow the Pfocedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5}Ibl of the 2011 Act., and to state whether particular matters have come lo my attention. Basis of Independent examiners, rèport My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Direction5 given by the Charity Commission.
