The charity trustees confirm that they have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefft, and have followed this in planning and undertaking our aclivities. The charivs aims are to support people affeded by liver conditions through the provision of a variety of activities. The main activities undertaken in relation to our objects are: Continued delivery of Autrpimmune condition and general liver suptMNt groups to enae both peers. carers and mentors to develop a better understanding of liver cx)nditions and to build closer links within their u)mmunities. Signposting other charities, helpirKJ organisations and groups which support the needs of sen4ice users. Ongcmng development of a helpline arKI website to allow Ople affected by liver corKlttions to access relevant infomation. The helpline (xll numbers rose by over 20% in this year Helpline available 5 days per yek with speckqlist advice and signposting 5. Van work continued, and the van was used for outreach and community support. Section D Achievements and performance Liver4Life (L4L), which set its initial goals as providing a free-phone helpline and developing infomiation to help the recently diagnosed and those affected by liver conditions has continued to grow and develop. Continue to support 4 patient Sup[ groups The L4L van was again a valuable asset in reathing communtties and we urKlertcM)k work in Dorset and Hampshire. Working with UHD to provide outreach into smaller rural communities, and we are planning outreach to homeless and at risk groups across the South of England. We are also vthing hard to build our social media profile. The management team continue to create a strong brand and excellent awareness to ensure L4L is identified as a very suttessful nationa5 liver charity. Clear goals and targets have been developed jointly with the trustees and the management team. and with the implem8ntats.on of these strategies. L4L wll continue to grow and continue to be a key inlluencer with the liver community.
