Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 HGMF put on one free concerts,
covering a wide range of music styles in
an easily accessible, beautiful garden
setting near the town centre.
We began with a rock concert, a theme
which is very popular with the public.
We always have a wide range of good
local acts to choose from to give
different musicians performing
opportunities and exposure. Three of
the acts consisted of teenagers from
local schools and colleges, some of
whom had never performed on a big
stage in front of a large crowd before.
They were thrilled to have the
opportunity and put on great
performances.
Our performers said how much they
enjoyed being a part of the Horsham
Garden Music Festival and audience
feedback was really positive, too.
This type of event is beneficial to the
mental health and well-being of both
performers and audiences.
