Financial Review The Charity collected donations in the year of £74k and made payments of £27k resulting in surplus of £47k. The surplus for the period has been added to the brought forward reserves of £127k. At the year end the Charity held cash funds of £173k. The Charity does not have a reserves policy as the intention of the Charity is to distribute all receipts in line with the stated objectives. The balance of £173k held at the end of the reporting period arises from the timing of receipts and payments, and will be fully distributed in subsequent accounting periods. At the signing date of this report the Charity had made payments to other charities in 2024 of £100k reducing the surplus cash held. The Charity does not face any uncertainty regarding its going concern status.
