Section D Achievements and performance summary of the maln achlevem•nts of tho charlty durfng the year The impact of Covid-19 has hit the charlty hard due to th government stopping all event8 that we use for fundralsing. We hav8 had to close the Centre to all ￿8110r5 due lo govemm8nt restrictions. Tho trustees reviewed the Covld-19 sttU8tion in September 2020 deciding the best optlon was to continue with the uJtb8ck, c8asing all programs until a next rewew in March 2021. This is lo ensura that funds are used for the care of the horse$ at th8 centre and to secure its future. During CovhJ-19 the chartty has continued rfrhome racehorse8 Ihrough the centre. the ROR vulnerable racehorse programme and the charities bsite. The trustaes cOn￿der this has been very successful. as no hoT8es have been retumed to the Centre since 2010. In April 2020 the charity launc1￿1 a Covkl-19 Appeal on its Facebook page and thr4 Prov￿ very succe88ful, receivlng a d￿atIOn of £10,000 from one generous benefactor.
