Activities

To rescue retired racehorses and provide them with a secure, safe sanctuary for recuperation and rehabilitation. To retrain them so they can be successfully re-homed. To provide free therapeutic access to the horses for disadvantaged groups, injured veterans and people with disabilities, helping them develop skills and build confidence. To lobby for improvements in animal welfare legislation.

Objects: (1) For The Benefit Of The Public To Relieve The Suffering Of Animals, In Particular But Not Exclusively Horses, In Need Of Care And Attention By Providing And Maintaining A Rescue Home Or Other Facilities For The Reception, Care And Treatment Of Such Animals.(2) To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Animals By Providing Appropriate Care, Protection, Treatment And Security For Animals Which Are In Need Of Care And Attention By Reason Of Sickness, Maltreatment, Poor Circumstances Or Ill Usage And To Educate The Public In Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals.
