Section C Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document Objectives and activities The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust (the Trust) was established to make grants to other charities in the areas ot: Education, the Arts and Heritage, Health, and Economic and Community Development. The Trustees apply the income of the Trust to furthering such charitable urposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according i he laws of England and Wales The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust was established in January 2013 and during its twelfth full vear of operation (to 5th April 025) received proceeds from the disposal of gifted shares of £136,50 ad made arants of £94 335 to a variety of charitie The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have full regard to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidance when exercising their powers and duties to which the Commission's guidance is relevant. They further report that Trustees have taken careful note of the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) as this affects the Trust's activities. It is Trustees' policy only to make grants to UK registered charities and not to make any grants to individuals based either in the UK or overseas, or to overseas charities. Accordingly, in the financial year ended 5th April 2025, grants were made exclusively to UK registered charities. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE CONSUELO AND ANTHONY BROOKE CHARITABLE TRUST I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust ("the Charity") for the year ended 5 April 2025. Responsibilities and basis of report As the Charity's Trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
