Section C Objectives and activities The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust (the Trust} was establlshed to make grants to other charrties in the areas of: Education. the Arts and Heritage, Health, and Economlc and Communfty Development. Summary ofthe objects ofthe charity set out in Its govemino document The Trustees apply the income of the Trust to furthering such charitable purposes for the public benefft as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales. The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust was established in January 2013 and during its eleventh full year of operation (to 5th April 2024) received proceeds from the disposal of gifted shares of £108.484 and made grants of £85,680 to a variety of charities. The Trustees confirm that they have complied WFth their duty to have full regard to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidan when exercising their powers and duties to which the Commission's guidance is leVant. They further report that Trustees have taken careful note of the Common Reporting Standard {CRS) as this affects the Trust's activities. It is Trustee8' policy only to make grants to UK registered charities and nol to make any grants to individuals based eilher in the UK or overseas, or to overseas charities. Accordingly, in the financial year ended 5th April 2024. grants were made exclusively to UK registered charities.
