The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust (the Trust} was
establlshed to make grants to other charrties in the areas of: Education.
the Arts and Heritage, Health, and Economlc and Communfty
Development.

The Trustees apply the income of the Trust to furthering such
charitable purposes for the public benefft as are exclusively charitable
according to the laws of England and Wales.
The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charitable Trust was established in
January 2013 and during its eleventh full year of operation (to 5th April
2024) received proceeds from the disposal of gifted shares of £108.484
and made grants of £85,680 to a variety of charities.
The Trustees confirm that they have complied WFth their duty to have full
regard to the Charity Commission's public benefit guidan￿ when
exercising their powers and duties to which the Commission's guidance
is ￿leVant. They further report that Trustees have taken careful note of
the Common Reporting Standard {CRS) as this affects the Trust's
activities. It is Trustee8' policy only to make grants to UK registered
charities and nol to make any grants to individuals based eilher in the UK
or overseas, or to overseas charities. Accordingly, in the financial year
ended 5th April 2024. grants were made exclusively to UK registered
charities.

the Trust has again. in accordance with its objeclfves. been able to make
grants to a variety of charities. Subject to receiving further (bnations, the
Trustees intend to continue to make grants to similar causes in the
coming years.

The Trusfs cash reserves are deposited with a major internalional bank.
On 5th April 2024 the Trust held no quoted or unquoted investments. The
Trust maintsins cash reserves to cover any short-tenn liabilities with
remalning balances available for future dlstribution by way of grants.

I report to the Trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Consuelo and Anthony Brooke Charltable
Trust ("the Charitf) for the year ended 5 April 2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the CharIt￿S Trustees you a￿ responsible for the prepardtion of the accounts in accordance with the
quirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report in respect of my examinatlon of the Chariws accounts carried out under sertlon 145 of the 2011
Act and in carying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Dlrections gfven by the Charity
Q)mmtssion under section 145{5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examlnerfs statement
I have completed my examlnation. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection wlth the examlnation givin8 me cause to believe that in any material respert..
accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act. or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in thi5 report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be
