Activities
The JBA Trust supports and promotes scientific research, education and training in the fields of environmental risks and resources, with a particular focus on water.We work with leading academic researchers and other charities to create opportunities for research-based project placements and to support students and courses in higher education.
Objects: 4.1 To Advance The Science And Practice Of "Water And Environmental Risk And Resource Management" (Which Expression Shall Include, Without Limitation, The Development And Application Of Engineering Or Scientific Knowledge And Expertise Relevant To The Provision Of Policies, Works And Services Designed To Further The Beneficial Management, Conservation And Improvement Of The Environment, Via Management Of Environmental Risks And Resources, Including Their Development, Use And Conservation) For The Public Benefit.4.2 To Promote Education, Training, Study And Research In The Science And Practice Of Water And Environmental Risk And Resource Management (Including Without Limitation Of The Foregoing, The Provision Of Scholarships, Grants, Sponsorship And Funding In This Behalf And The Publication Of Research) For The Public Benefit.4.3 To Promote The Science Of Water, Environment And Risk Management For The Public Benfit, Particularly, But Not Exclusively, By The Encouragement Of Education, Training, Study And Research In Water And Environmental Risk Management And To Advance Education Of Members Of The Public In The Science And Practice Of Water And Environmental Risk Management.4.4 To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Science, Engineering And Management Of Water Resources, Natural Perils, Water Treatment, Water Supply And Use Of Water, The Collection, Treatment And Re-Use Of Wastewaters, The Natural Environment In General And Related Subjects.4.5 To Promote To The Public The Science And Science Of Renewable Energy And The Sustainable Use Of Natural Resources, Particularly, But Not Exclusively, By The Encouragement Of Education, Training, Study And Research In Renewable Energy And Sustainable Resource Management.
