SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES Worship & P&storal Care WL hav¢ our Holy Euc11]st h¢ld on cvy Third Saturday of th¢ Month at St. Anthony of Padua Chui¢h. During this y¢Rr, The At]nual General Body has agreed to commence a Secolld Holy Bucharist (Qurbana) which would be in English to address the growing children and the young peopl¢ of our church on ev¢ry First Sunday of the month 81arting from September 2024 at Northway Evangelical church Oxford. Feast of St Mary The annual Fe&st of St, Mary was held on 15 ' tmd 16" September 2023, Feast of the Natlvlty of Our Lord We conducted Fea8t of the Nativity of Our Lord on the 23rd of D¢c¢mb¢r 2023. 'Pxsslon Week The passion we¢k for this year was in the last week of March. Chri8tmai Carol Christmas carol for this year was held on 2 1st and 22nd December 2023. The Parish m¢mbers visited the residence of our members during these two days singing the Clwistmas Gurols, Santu visit and spreading the happincss of the birth of our Jesus CE]rist. Harvest Festival The Harvest Festival was held on 21, October 2023 after the Holy Qurbana at Northway Hall. Barbeque The Annual barbeque was held on 23rd September al Northway Evangellcal Church along with the closing ceremony of our Orthodox Vacation Bible Study for 2023. Almost All the members of our church and som¢ of the Local community have participat¢d and made the day a great su¢c¢ss. General Body Meeting There were 3 General bodie8 held in the FY 23-24. April 15th 2023, November 18th 2023, and March 16th 2024. Charlty St Mary's Indian Orthodox Church is & registered charity under the Charity cotnmission England and Wales with Charity Numb¢r -1149906. Curr¢ntly we bave 3 charity tNstees and 7- Volunle¢rs. Trust¢¢s- Mr. Varughe8¢ K Cherian, Mr. Saji Tklekkeklcara, and Mr. Biby Thomas. As per the General Body decision Mr. Jaic George & Mr, Rajin V Poulose will be added to ihe list of Charity Trustees.

SPllUTUAL ORGANIZATIONS Sund&y School The Siinday School Classes are held on the first Sunday evening of each month, from 4pm to 6pm and third Saturday after Holy Eucharist at Northway Evangelical church. The Orthodox Vucation Bible School for thi5 year was Special and mesmerizAng> the event took plac¢ ov¢r tbr¢¢ days in September 2023, witli a full-day evellt on Septembcr 2nd and a thrcc-hour 5¢3sion on September 3rd. The program concluded with a half-day children's event at Northway Church The OCYM Th¢ OCYM (Orthodox christi Youth Movement) plays a vital role within our church community, with Mr. Kevin Shaji serving ds Secretary, and Ms. Alisha l(oshy and Ms. Hallnah Philip as Joint Sccr¢tari¢s, Throughout the pas¢ year, our youth actively participated in various initiatives and ev¢nt$, Acolytes (AMOSS) On b¢half of all the m¢mb¢rs of the Church lik¢ to acknowledge the dedicated service of all the acolytes assisted with duties al the Altsr, MMVS The MMVS h&s its m¢¢tings scheduled on th¢ third Friday of the month vill online along with bible study. Prayer Meetlng The prayer meetings were led and guided by our vicar Rev. Fr, G¢evarghese Jacob Th&rakall Along with the help of Mr. Nibu Thomas, Prayer coordill&tor. The prayers are held after our Sunday School on every Firsc Sunday Cvening of the month. Cholr Choir has tak¢n a gr¢at prweden¢¢ in our church from the past y¢ar. FINANCIAL REVIEW Reserves The Church reserves are held to help its current und lUre activities including a separat¢ savings account for acquiring &ssels. The retained sutplus of parish as on 3110312024 was £47562.01 (£ 31411.18 on 3110312023). STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Covernlng document The Charlty is controlled by its governing document, The constitution adopted on 19 Dec 2009 as amellded on 17 Nov2012. Recrultment and appolntTnent of trustees The vicar is appointed by the Dioc¢san Bishop and his term will until further order from the Diocesan Blshop. The Secretary, Treasurer and other committee mgmbers are elected by the allllual get]eral body meeting of th¢ charity.
