The Institute operates across the UK and is building international connections with other countries seeking to strengthen their own public health nursing practice. The mission of the iHV is to be a Centre of Excellence,- supporting the development of high quality health visiting practice,- so that health visitors can respond to the health needs of all children, families and communities
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are:1. The Relief And Prevention Of Sickness And The Promotion Of Public Health;2. The Advancement Of Education;3. The Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of Such Individualsby, Without Limitation, Acting As A Centre Of Excellence For Health Visiting For The Benefit Of Children And Families And The Communities In Which They Live
