Victory Baptist Church Trustees (VBCT) are committed lo ensure that people from different backgrounds are welcome to worship with us and to become part of our chLSrch community. The VBCT ensures that our evangelistic (outreach) services are as inclusive as possible to encourage all groups of people from different backgrounds and ages to be part of the church community. VBCT have considered the Commission's guidance on public benefit and the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion. We strive to support ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our church community through.. 1. Worship and prayer, learning about the Gospel, and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Regular Sunday services, communion Servi on first Sunday of each month, Bible studies and prayer meeting each week. Summary ofthe main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) 2. Provision of pastoral care for people, who are members of the church. Contact anyone who attends for the first time by phone call and or email, as well as regular members who may need visits from time to time. Support members where necessary in diverse ways, for example newly married couples, familieslsingle parents with new babies, the bereaved andlor homeless. 3. Missionary work. Annual contributions to Baptist Union of Great Britain and London Baptists. Ad hoc donations to individual charities in the local community andlor nationallinternational charities. 4. Outreach work. Evangelistic activities to create an awareness of God's kingdom in the community. Invite members of the community to actively participate in such activities. It is important that we maintain the material well-being of Victory Baptist Church as a true Bible-filled church to ensure the duties listed above are maintsined. TAR March 2012
Additional details of objectlves and activities (Optional infomiationl Contributions made by Volunteers We rely heavily on volunteers. We pay our Senior Pastor a part- time allowance. Our Assistant Pastor also receives a small allowance for visitations. All services and activities are carried out by volunteers. This is a significant contribution to the church as we save on staff salaries and wages. You may choose to include further statements. where relevant, about.. policy on grantmaking, policy programme related investment., contribution made by volunteers. The continued reliance on volunteers is what has sustained the church financially to date. We couldn't carry on without their immense contributions. Savlng8 We hav8 a savings account London Baptist Property Board ILBPBI as we believe we will buy our own place ofworship in future. We have not been able to add lo our savings as our membership numbers have reduced and therefore tithes and offerings have reduced as well. TAR March 2012
Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the maln achievements of the charity during the yoar Worship and Prayer Regulaf Sunday church service (in person and via Facebook) Wednesday Bible Studies (virtual via telephone conference} Friday Prayer meeling interceding on behatf of the church, the individual needs, the local community and London in general. Family Life and Pastoral Care Generally, we encourage members to call each other by phone and in person lo help create fallowship and bonding, and to be each other's keeper. We have a main WhatsApp plafform for the whole church, used as notlC8 board to convey messages to all. As new people join us we add them to this platform so they are not left out. We have separate WhatsApp platfomis for m8n. women and young adults. These are used to communicate information that are relevant to th8 particular group members. Because these are smaller platforms, we ensure that we ar8 in touch with one another. Members have open door acc8SS to our pastors and leaders and are encouraged to talk to someone whenever they need to. We have corporate fasting periods, beginning of January and the last week of eaGh monlh. This helps in our spiritual growth. We have feasts like Thanksgiving dinner. Christmas dinner, Valentine dinner. Such feasts bring us togelher in informal s8ttings and we are able lo invite friends and family along. The women in the church are largely responsible for tha cooking. Ml8slon and Evangellsm We also carried out these activities.. Compasslon UK - Church members continue to Support this inl¢rnalional charity to be able lo help others who are less fortunate than we are. Several members sponsor children in poor countries around the world. They do $0 by direct debrt from their individual bank accounts. We made our annual subscriptions to Baptist Union of Great Britaln and London Baptlst As8oclatlon. In August, the Women's Fellowship made a donation to The Leanne Pero Foundation. We had a few outdoor evangelic activities outside Tooting Broadway Tube Station, sharing the Word of God and inviting people io loln our church fellowshlp 11 they wanteo to. Children and Youth Our young adults meet once a week and the numbers are slowly but steadily growing. These meetings help them discuss and leam about life skills and Christian prin¢iples that are relevant to them. TAR Marth 2012

Our principal sources of funds are through donations, tithes and offerings, as well as special thanksgiving Service (last Sunday in November) and Gift Aid claim. We encourage lax-paylng memberslattendees to sign up the gift-aid declaration. We continue to hold our savings account with London Baptist Property Board (LBPBI with a hope to buy our own place of worship in future, however due to our low numbers we have not been ablè to make new deposits since the lockdown.
