Victory Baptist Church Trustees (VBCT) are committed lo ensure
that people from different backgrounds are welcome to worship
with us and to become part of our chLSrch community. The VBCT
ensures that our evangelistic (outreach) services are as inclusive
as possible to encourage all groups of people from different
backgrounds and ages to be part of the church community.
VBCT have considered the Commission's guidance on public
benefit and the specific guidance on charities for the advancement
of religion. We strive to support ordinary people to live out their
faith as part of our church community through..
1. Worship and prayer, learning about the Gospel, and
developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus. Regular
Sunday services, communion Servi￿ on first Sunday of
each month, Bible studies and prayer meeting each week.
Summary ofthe main
activities undertaken for the
public benefit in relation to
these objects (include within
this section the statutory
declaration that trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public
benefit)
2. Provision of pastoral care for people, who are members of
the church. Contact anyone who attends for the first time by
phone call and or email, as well as regular members who
may need visits from time to time. Support members where
necessary in diverse ways, for example newly married
couples, familieslsingle parents with new babies, the
bereaved andlor homeless.
3. Missionary work. Annual contributions to Baptist Union of
Great Britain and London Baptists. Ad hoc donations to
individual charities in the local community andlor
nationallinternational charities.
4. Outreach work. Evangelistic activities to create an
awareness of God's kingdom in the community. Invite
members of the community to actively participate in such
activities.
It is important that we maintain the material well-being of Victory
Baptist Church as a true Bible-filled church to ensure the duties
listed above are maintsined.

Contributions made by Volunteers
We rely heavily on volunteers. We pay our Senior Pastor a part-
time allowance. Our Assistant Pastor also receives a small
allowance for visitations.
All services and activities are carried out by volunteers. This is a
significant contribution to the church as we save on staff salaries
and wages.

The continued reliance on volunteers is what has sustained the
church financially to date. We couldn't carry on without their
immense contributions.
Savlng8
We hav8 a savings account London Baptist Property Board ILBPBI as
we believe we will buy our own place ofworship in future. We have not
been able to add lo our savings as our membership numbers have
reduced and therefore tithes and offerings have reduced as well.

Family Life and Pastoral Care
Generally, we encourage members to call each other by phone and in
person lo help create fallowship and bonding, and to be each other's

We have a main WhatsApp plafform for the whole church, used as
notlC8 board to convey messages to all. As new people join us we
add them to this platform so they are not left out.
We have separate WhatsApp platfomis for m8n. women and young
adults. These are used to communicate information that are relevant
to th8 particular group members. Because these are smaller
platforms, we ensure that we ar8 in touch with one another.
Members have open door acc8SS to our pastors and leaders and are
encouraged to talk to someone whenever they need to.
We have corporate fasting periods, beginning of January and the last
week of eaGh monlh. This helps in our spiritual growth.
We have feasts like Thanksgiving dinner. Christmas dinner, Valentine
dinner. Such feasts bring us togelher in informal s8ttings and we are
able lo invite friends and family along. The women in the church are
largely responsible for tha cooking.

Compasslon UK - Church members continue to Support this

In August, the Women's Fellowship made a donation to The

We had a few outdoor evangelic activities outside Tooting
Broadway Tube Station, sharing the Word of God and inviting
people io loln our church fellowshlp 11 they wanteo to.
Children and Youth
Our young adults meet once a week and the numbers are slowly but
