Flnancial review The Charity's reserves are held as cash, currenty deposited wrth Bardays Bank. The opening balance of total cash assets as at Aug 1# 2023 was £36.828.31 and the closing balance on July 31* 2024 was £40,475.53. There was a 'net' increase in reserves during the year Aug 23- July 24 of £3.647.22 (largety due to increased Gift Aid received and an advance fee payment). The Charity aims to maintain SLfficient reseryes to prevent ¢ash-flow dtfficutties within a conGert S8ason and to develop further activib.es according to its Charitable aims. Re$pectfvo responslbllilies of Trustees and Examinor The charity's Tntstees are responsible for the weparation of the accounts. The charity's Trustees consider that an audbt is not required for this year under se¢tion 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independènt examination is needed. It is my responsibilty to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions grven by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and to stat8 whether particular matters have come to my attention Basis of independent examlnerfs statemont My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission.
