Report to the trustees Charity Name HEALTH, EDUCATION, LOSS AND POVERTY (HEALTH) TRUST On accounts for the year 31[st] May 2023 Charity no 1148797 ended (if any) Set out on pages 3-8 of the Accounts (remember to include the page numbers of additional sheets) I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/05/2023. Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent The charity’s gross income does not exceed £250,000 and I am qualified to examiner's statement undertake the examination.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination.

1 ACCOUNTING POLICIES Accounting convention

These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention with items recognised at cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant note(s) to these accounts.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16 July 2014.

Income

All incoming resouces are included on the Staement of Financial Activities when the charity is legally entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy.

Tangible fixed assets

Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life or, if held under a finance lease, over the lease term, whichever is the shorter.

Taxation

The charity is exempt from corportion tax on its charitable activities.
