Joseph Ward's Charity Trustee's report The Trustees present their report and financial statements for the year ended 31 August 2025 The trustees have adopted the provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) "Accounting and Reporting by Charities" issued in March 2005 in preparing the annual report and financial statements of the charity. Structurej governance and managernent The trustees will be the persons who are the members from lime lo time of the Hillsborough Trinity Methodist Church Council, acting in accordan with their normal procedures. Appointment of trustees The trustees musl give to each new trustee, on their first appointment: a copy of the governing documenl of the charity, including any amendments made to it., a copy of the charity's latest report and statement of accounts. Objectlves and actlvltles The objects of the charity is to further the religious or other charitable work of the Methodist Church wlhin the Circuit, with preference lo the work carried out at, and through, the Church. In Furtheran of the object, but without limitation, the trustees my- - support work directed towards the advancement of the Christian faith among young childrena nd young people., and Provide financial or other assistance to person in need (with preferen to persons who attend Hillsbrough Trinity Methodist Church)., and - provide flnancial assistan to Hillsbrough Methodist Church to maintain and repair its premises.
