Activities
Our vision is to raise aspiration, reduce isolation, create stronger relationships and empower young people, their families and the wider community. SYCT meets the needs of the local community through the provision of a wide range of activities focusing on education and training, personal development, support for disadvantaged groups, sport and the arts.
Objects: (1) To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants In Or Near Streatham (the Area Of Benefit) Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Nationality, Age, Disability, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Statutory Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;(2) To Help Young People, Especially But Not Exclusively Through Leisure Time Activities, So As To Develop Their Capabilities That They May Grow To Full Maturity As Individuals And Members Of Society.(3) To Promote Such Other Purposes As Are Charitable According To The Laws Of England And Wales For The Benefit Of The Public As May From Time To Time Be Determined.
