The main activity of Springhill Parents and Friends Association is the organising of fund raising events. We run several fundraising events throughout the year which are for the benefit of pupils of our school and their families. When planning our fundraising activities for the year the trustees have considered the Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

In terms of furthering the charities objectives we have provided to the school the following:

Winter coats as part of the No Cold Child campaign

Chocolate lollies for all children as part of the Christmas activities
Over the course of the year, we secured a £10,000 Community Grant from Nationwide Banking Society to assist the school in constructing an outdoor sensory space. This facility will be accessible to all students, with particular emphasis on supporting children with complex needs and will be completed in 2026.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31.08.2025
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
