The Stsff team was also strengthened by the addition of Mr D Hawken on 1 November 2023 as a trainee lamity and outrèach worker. We werè 88d to say goodbye to Mrs A Taylor-Robert$ ag 8 staff mèmber and Senior teader when she left for new pastures al the end of May 2024. Thv chuTch conlinues to meet ¥n iwo physical locations. Cinderford and Ross-on•Wye. and it has WOTked èxtr8rnely well. It means that the new fledgeling church in Ross benefflts from accesslng resou￿$ of the larger more established church in Cinderford and it 15 8atisfying to see Ihe growth 28 a re3ult. Due to our continual investment in online technology our Sunday 5eNices are ngw interactive be¢w£en the CinderfoiEI and Ross Ghur¢h locations. Part of the s8rvice now come8 from each venue and has helped to e￿al& a wonderfulty engaging dynam¢c which is proving to be greaNy appreciated by both congragatityn8. Our online church continues YouTube. Fa￿bOOk 8nd Instagram but now that Covtd is not the Strh¢ting facior that it was, we are using it more as a shop window for new people to explore as a firsl slep before comlng lo visit, and for th¢188 who are unable to joln us on Sundays due to illness. Therefor8, it ctsnunues to play an Important part in church lrfe. The Ross ¢hurch building built in 1866 has had little money spent on il from SO yes so it was in fteed of some sefiOUS rnaIntenan￿ and refutbtshmeDt This was started in March 2023 when £12,000 wa5 spent on maintenance for the roof. There is also a great need for new toilets. repairs to an outside w￿1 and we would like to make the patio area morg usable. This would 6nable us to tske better advantage of the location with a large footl811 passin9 by eaoh day for a coffee shop s￿e ministry to sarve the oommunty in the future. In September 2024 work started on the ioilet8 and palio. Our Cindèrford building is belng used mo81 days ol the week lor a ￿￿e fangè of events whleh brfng spirftual Ilfe and practical help indudlng FocMJbank, Alcoholics Antsnymous and Nar￿)ll¢S Anonymous to our communty.
