Thankfulness and Prayer

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace. For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:3-8).

Development activities and achievements:

The trustees are pleased to report that the Church has been successful spiritually by ministering to many people both members and non-member in our society.

Our Achievements:

The RPC Family in the year under review was involved in many activities in and outside the United Kingdom. Seminars, workshops, and conferences were organised whereby Christian values and morals were taught with the focus of healthy living (lifestyles) and good parenting in the society. The proper awareness of the Covid-19 and its percussion, the notion of not taking the Vaccine were disturbing as some individual African Traditional Churches were discouraging their member not ta participating in the Vaccine programme.

In the year under review, more charitable donations, and support were giving to individual members and partners who were in dying need of support in order to demonstrate our love to them. And also, to fulfil the Greatest Commandment which was spoken by Our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:37-40, … “‘ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbours as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Domestic support and assistants were given to the needy. The was unbale to encourage many members of the Body of Christ including sick people in the year under review due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The RPC Family members were admonished to support people as much as possible in fulfilment in Matthew 25:41-46. Parents were advised to keep watch on their children and support them in doing their homework.

The Church were able to fulfil our Aims and Objectives through individuals’ contributions, Government support and Bunce Back Loan.
