Trustees’ Report
All praise to The Almighty who has bestowed us with another year to help and support Madressa Mahmoodia.
After a challenging year with Covid-19, it was paramount for us as a madrassa to ensure a safe return for students and teachers.
To ensure this, the madrassa took three steps to minimise risks.
The first and the most challenging step the madrassa undertook was staggered starting and finishing times for different classes. This enabled us to handle a lower number of pupils entering and leaving the madrassa at once.
The second step of action included the installation of hand sanitisers which were used by teachers and students upon entry and exit from each class.
And lastly, provisions were also made for students who were unable to attend lesson, due to contraction of Covid-19, to be able to attend via other means, such as online and over a telephone call.
With the above mentioned steps, we ensured the madrassa was a safe learning hub for all who attended, and those unable to attend were given alternative means to also participate in lessons without the need of attending in person.
