Section C Objectives and activities
The Club's objects are to provide, organise and encourage education, physical recreation and leisure time activities, primarily Association Summary of the objects Football, for young people with the object of advancing and improving of the charity set out in their conditions of life, developing their physical and mental capacities its governing document so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and Members of society. Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The club had another good year of growth, hitting new records in terms of registered players. Around 660 players registered during the season with around 40 teams.
The Club continues to invest in up-skilling many volunteers coaches by offering regular opportunities to attend FA certified coaching courses. The Club also provides coaches to help facilitate football activities for the younger age group (5 to 8 year olds) as well as continued engagement with a Goal keeper coach.
It was pleasing to have a normal season of football again through 2021/22
Section E Financial review
The charity’s policy is to retain reserves sufficient to meet any Brief statement of the immediate requirements of the charity while setting aside charity’s policy on sufficient funds to meet growth needs and for longer term reserves projects.
P&L proposed to be submitted to the Charity commission for the Details of any funds period to 30 June 2022 saw a profit of c£9k. This exceeded our materially in deficit budget expectations due to a successful tournament as well as lower replacement costs on kit than expected.
