It is one of several such charides, which support the work of The Turnajnl Fund in Tanzania. liunalnl Tanzanfia Is managed by the Cornmittee of The Turnainl Fund, a registered charity in Guernsey) Channel Islands. and compIises teams of social workers in the offices at Murgwanza (near Ngara, Kagera), Chato (Kagera, near Lake Victorta), MLdeba (Lweru) and Kayanga (dlstrict of Karagwe, Lwenj); they fin turn manage a network of fteldworkers throughout the Dioceses of Kagera and Lweru respectively. Tan&la is one the ten poorest nations in the world and this rernoie region has been particularly affeckd by the AtDS epidemic that spread through the reglon 20 years ago sn the wake of the unrest and rehjgee crisis in neighbouring Rwanda BUrLdI and Uganda.
