RAISES AWARENESS OF A RARE CANCER TYPE, PSEUDOMYXOMA PERITONEI, WHICH AFFECTS AROUND THREE OR FOUR PEOPLE PER MILLION EACH YEAR WORLDWIDE. AWARENESS IS RAISED THROUGH LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGNS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A WEBSITE AND THROUGH LEAFLETS. WE AIM TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP RELIEVE THE EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL STRESS OF THIS RARE DIAGNOSIS AND TO RAISE FUNDS INTO RESEARCH.

Objects: 1) The Releive Of Sickness And Mental And Emotional Distress Of Those Suffering From Pseudomyxoma, Their Families And Carers, In Particular By The Provision Of A Website Providing Advice, Information And Support, And2) To Provide Funds To Suport Research Into Pseudomyxoma, Its Causes, Treatment And Cure And Pubilsh The Useful Results Of Such Research.
