Chairman's Report St Paul's leadership has progressed in its decision to leave the CofE and is exploring other Anglican denominations as I write. Trustees made payments for: Letton Hall Houseparty deposit £810. There was no other activity of note made by the Harold Hill Diamond Trust in the financial year. We as Trustees 'Pray', trusting in the power of the Sovereign Lord Jesus, for current situations where evil seems to have taken hold in the wider church. Matthew 8- 28- 34 reminds us of Jesus power. Matthew's Gospel focuses on the demons rather than the poor men inhabited by these dark forces. It is the demons who speak Iv 311, addressing Jesus with a Messianic title. Despite their noise (v 29} they are fearful (they know their power and their time is limited} and subservient (they acknowledge Jesus, complete authority over them}. Jesus utters one word Iv 321. One word and demons flee. There is no parity of power, no battle between the forces of good and evil. Jesus has ultimate and complete authority. How does this truth about Jesus give us hope in the face of the destructive forces of evil in our world? The Lord will have the last Word. This gives u5 such confidence as we contend as trustees of the HHDT in these tough times. We come before him with open hands as we serve. Government The policy and operating decisions of the charity rest with the Trustees. Due to the widespread locations of the Trustees, decisions are usually discussed and agreeth upon via Zoom meetings or e-mail circulations. The Annual General Meeting was held on 24/07/2025. Activities providing Public Benefit during 2025 The HHDT accounts for year ending 31" December 2025 were circulated to the Trustees in January 2026. Following an independent examination, the accounts were presented, agreed and signed at the AGM on 26/08/2026. The accounts are published annually. During 2025, the Harold Hill Diamond Trust received I request for grant to pay the 810 deposit for a Church family away weekend at Letton Hall from 26/6-28106/2026. This request was approved by the Trustees and duly paid out. HHDT 2025 AR&FS
The number of donors giving to the Trust has continued to increase. The 2024 monthly average of 9 donors has risen to 12 during 2025. The income continues to come from individuals mainly within the congregation at St Pauls, Harold Hill. There were also 5 one off donations totalling £8575 in 2025. The Irust is verythankful for the continued support of all those who give via the HHDT Trust to support biblical Christian ministry in Harold Hill. The amount of Gift Aid claimed for the tax year ending 05/04/2025 was £3890.07. A full copy of the 2025 accounts are attached at the end of this report. Changes in Trustees There have been no changes in the Trustees during 2025.
