Grants are recognised in the accounts when the conditions of the grant, for example the commencement of the Lourse, are met. At 31 March 2025, there is a crediior of £36,590 lor grants where there is a reasonable expectation that recipient will receive the grant but the granr has not been pald. In additlon to providlng financlal grants, the trust also offers ongoing practical support to grant recipients. In the past year this included assistance with costs of preparing course work and oftering advice regarding references and details of further financial support available to them. The Trust ha.s also been able to arrange for work experience pla￿￿ents at Allan laiies Solicitors in High Wycombe, for 2 of the students undertaking law degrees. The Trust has also launched a website designed to raise awareness of its charitable actlvltles and from which candidates can make direct applications for beneflt. RUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governlng document The charity is controlled byits governing document, a deed of trust and constitutes an unincurporated charity. Recrulrment and appolntment ofnew trustees The current trusLees are Nlck Morrison, Tracey Olsen, Rachel Hill and Alex Stanier. I￿rOY Langley, an origlnal trustee retired in May 2023 and wa5 replaced by Rachel Hill. All other tru.stees were appointed as flrsc trustees under ihe instructions of the late Mrs Olsen. The trust deed required that there be at least three trustees and thatall fiJture trustees must beappolnted bya re501utlon ofthe trustees passed at a special meeting.
