Funds have been generated through the following initiatives:

All events were organised to raise funds and awareness to support PWS research. Trustees carefully considered the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit while setting objectives and planning activities.

During the financial year 2023-2024, FPWR UK contributed £65,000 towards three key research projects :

Financial Review

FPWR UK maintains a minimum reserve of £3,000 to cover approximately three months of essential operating costs , including staff wages and storage facility expenses. This reserve ensures the charity can continue to function effectively in the event of unexpected income shortfalls or delays. The reserve requirement is reviewed annually to reflect the charity’s financial commitments and operational needs.

FPWR UK confirms that no funds are in material deficit.

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts

Independent Examiners Statement

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

1 which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:-
