Activities
The charity manages the South Bookham SPACE and hires it out both for private functions and to regular users who provide services to the local community. At present regular users provide the following facilities: Pre-school group, Martial arts training, Parkour, Pilates, Yoga, Zumba fitness and tennis.
Objects: To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Great Bookham, Surrey And The Neighbourhood,without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinionsby Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Otherorganisations In A Common Effort To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare Forrecreation, Leisure-Time Occupation And Advancement Of Education With The Objective Ofimproving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.to Advance In Life And Help Young People Through The Provision Of:(a) Recreational And Leisure Time Activities Provided In The Interest Of Social Welfare, Designedto Improve Their Conditions Of Life;(b) Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enablethem To Advance In Life And Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Individuals.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power To Establishor Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operatewith Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre Foractivities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects
