| We can help at home | |||
| Time Is Precious aim to help as many children as possible who may need | |||
| extra equipment not supplied by the NHS at home. This could also |
|||
| inctude sensory equipment, specialised devices such as Eye Gaze |
|||
| Communication etc. Every child is unique &will need equipment to suit |
|||
| them, working alongside hospital staff, toensure the needs ofthe child is |
|||
| met correctly. | |||
| Hospitals | |||
| Hospital life can be extremely stressful when you have an ill child. Time is |
|||
| precious purchase amazing equipment to help retax the chikfren as welt |
|||
| as helping distract them from traumatic procedures. |
|||
| Family and friends like to visit young patients, but visits can be cut short |
|||
| because it is difficult keeping brothers and sisters entertained. We want |
|||
| to be able to make visiting time as best we can for everyone so they can | |||
| enjoy playing games, chatting and just being a family. |
|||
| Hospital Wards, play and physiotherapy departments often need extra |
|||
| funding for resources and equipment as Hospital budgets are limited. |
|||
| The Charity aims to fund the departments by raising monies to purchase |
|||
| equipment for the patients to use during their time in the hospital. |

Charitable Activities The main project completed in the period was the funding oftwo video tours to show what wifi happen when children are admitted into hospital for surgery. The films are virtual reality so all the different areas ofthe hospital can be fufiy explored whilst watching the film. We hope these films will help alleviate any worry young patients may have about their |

| We have purchased a second large interactive multi-touch screen for Bristol Chi/dren's Hospital after the success ofthe same equipment previously funded for RUH Bath. |

| We are also pleased to have helped four more children at home though the Ben's Giif initiative by funding mobility equipinent including chairs, frames and stands. |
||||
| The garden project in the RUH continued to progress and subsequently completed with an opening ceremony in September 2021. |

| Due to the impact ofthe COVID-19 pandemic, Bath Half Marathon 2021, our main annual fundraising event, along with many other fundraising events and activities were cancelled. This was income shortfall was |

| partially mitigated by virtuai and online events and post-race donations from Bath Half 2020. |
||||
| We continued to be Charity ofthe Year for both Curo Group and Mendip District Council. Continued support from local company Parkers Trans ort. |

The charity started off with a large lump sum ofmoney transferred from The Ben Halford Foundation (money raised by the public to try to send Ben to USA tokeep birn alive, but he deteriorated quicker than expected, so his parents set up Time Is Precious). We only commit to projects & equipment we know we can afford/ raise, being realistic. Ifany grants are donated toa specific project this is always honoured. |

| As money raised within the Yeovil area, will be spent on Yeovii Hospital. Any money raised not within this area. will go towards either Bath RUH or Bristol Chikken's. Donors may be specific on which IKepitat itis put towards. |

| Spending on core charitable activilies was restricted in the period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, decreasing from 2117.0k to K20.4k. This has been achieved though the introduction of Help at Home funding and increased donations ofhospitai equipment. |

| Cash reserves remain Ixgh at 6341k (2020:E313k)as the charity continues to work towards hospital projects and in-home equipment donations. |
