distract them from traumatic

it is difficult keeping brothers
and sisters entertained.
We want| ||||to be able to make visiting time as best we can for everyone so they can| ||||enjoy playing
games, chatting
and just being a family.| ||||Hospital Wards, play and physiotherapy
departments
often need extra| ||||funding
for resources and equipment
as Hospital budgets are limited.| ||||The Charity aims to fund the departments

for the patients to use during

The main project completed
in the period was the funding
oftwo video
tours to show what
wifi happen
when children are admitted
into hospital
for surgery.
The films are virtual
reality so all the different areas ofthe
hospital can be fufiy explored whilst watching the film. We hope these
films will help alleviate any worry young patients
may have about their| |||||surgery.| |||||We have purchased
a second large interactive
multi-touch
screen for
Bristol Chi/dren's
Hospital after the success ofthe same equipment
previously
funded
for RUH Bath.| |||||We are also pleased to have helped
four more children at home though
the Ben's Giif initiative
by funding

including
chairs,
frames and stands.| |||||The garden project in the RUH continued
to progress and subsequently
completed
with an opening
ceremony
in September 2021.| |||||Fundraising| |||||Due to the impact
ofthe COVID-19 pandemic,
Bath Half Marathon 2021,
our main annual
fundraising
event, along with many other fundraising
events and activities were cancelled.
This was income shortfall was| |||||partially
mitigated
by virtuai and online events and post-race donations
from Bath Half 2020.| |||||We continued
to be Charity ofthe Year for both Curo Group and Mendip
District Council.
