||||Time Is Precious aim to help as many children as possible who may need|
||||extra equipment<br>not supplied<br>by the NHS at home. This could also|
||||inctude sensory equipment,<br>specialised devices such as Eye Gaze|
||||Communication<br>etc. Every child is unique<br>&will need equipment<br>to suit|
||||them, working<br>alongside<br>hospital staff, toensure the needs ofthe child is|
||||met correctly.|
||||Hospitals|
||||Hospital<br>life can be extremely<br>stressful when you have an<br>ill child. Time is|
||||precious purchase<br>amazing<br>equipment<br>to help retax the chikfren as welt|
||||as helping<br>distract them from traumatic<br>procedures.|
||||Family and friends like to visit young patients,<br>but visits can be cut short|
||||because<br>it is difficult keeping brothers<br>and sisters entertained.<br>We want|
||||to be able to make visiting time as best we can for everyone so they can|
||||enjoy playing<br>games, chatting<br>and just being a family.|
||||Hospital Wards, play and physiotherapy<br>departments<br>often need extra|
||||funding<br>for resources and equipment<br>as Hospital budgets are limited.|
||||The Charity aims to fund the departments<br>by raising monies to purchase|
||||equipment<br>for the patients to use during<br>their time in the hospital.|

|Summary ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year||||Charitable<br>Activities<br>The main project completed<br>in the period was the funding<br>oftwo video<br>tours to show what<br>wifi happen<br>when children are admitted<br>into hospital<br>for surgery.<br>The films are virtual<br>reality so all the different areas ofthe<br>hospital can be fufiy explored whilst watching the film. We hope these<br>films will help alleviate any worry young patients<br>may have about their|
|||||surgery.|
|||||We have purchased<br>a second large interactive<br>multi-touch<br>screen for<br>Bristol Chi/dren's<br>Hospital after the success ofthe same equipment<br>previously<br>funded<br>for RUH Bath.|
|||||We are also pleased to have helped<br>four more children at home though<br>the Ben's Giif initiative<br>by funding<br>mobility equipinent<br>including<br>chairs,<br>frames and stands.|
|||||The garden project in the RUH continued<br>to progress and subsequently<br>completed<br>with an opening<br>ceremony<br>in September 2021.|
|||||Fundraising|
|||||Due to the impact<br>ofthe COVID-19 pandemic,<br>Bath Half Marathon 2021,<br>our main annual<br>fundraising<br>event, along with many other fundraising<br>events and activities were cancelled.<br>This was income shortfall was|
|||||partially<br>mitigated<br>by virtuai and online events and post-race donations<br>from Bath Half 2020.|
|||||We continued<br>to be Charity ofthe Year for both Curo Group and Mendip<br>District Council.<br>Continued<br>support from local company<br>Parkers<br>Trans<br>ort.|
|Briefstatement<br>charity's<br>policy|||ofthe<br> on reserves|The charity started off with a large lump sum ofmoney transferred<br>from<br>The Ben Halford Foundation<br>(money raised<br>by the public to try to send<br>Ben to USA tokeep birn alive, but he deteriorated<br>quicker than expected,<br>so his parents set up Time Is Precious).<br>We only commit to projects & equipment<br>we know we can afford/ raise,<br>being realistic. Ifany grants are donated toa specific project this is always<br>honoured.|
|||||As money raised within the Yeovil area, will be spent on Yeovii Hospital.<br>Any money raised not within this area. will go towards either Bath RUH or<br>Bristol Chikken's.<br>Donors may be specific on which IKepitat<br>itis put<br>towards.|

|||||Spending<br>on core charitable<br>activilies was restricted<br>in the period due to<br>the COVID-19 pandemic,<br>decreasing<br>from 2117.0k to K20.4k. This has<br>been achieved though<br>the introduction<br>of Help at Home funding<br>and<br>increased donations ofhospitai equipment.|
