The church runs a fortnighlly craft group on Wednesday Evenings. The church operates 8y$lem5 to ensure that all people working wrth children and vulnerable adults arg appropriately vetted by the Disclosure & Barring Service. The church provides financial and prayer support for v8ri0us individuals and organisations eng8ged in mission activities {including practical care and relief project81 locally in Warford, elsewhere in the UK, and overseas. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achlevements ol the charlty during the year As a leadership team, we meet once a month, firstly lo consider the programme of events, update us on financial matters, then consider any facility matter$ and also respond to any ongoing matters. Our church membership has remained stable at ￿e1ve member8 during the year. The treasurer reported that total receipts for the year al £64.OK with a small surplus of £4.1 K, this was primarily due lo improved receipts from interest on general reserves. Wo have continued lo erffJa98 wrth our mission partners during the year to update us on their work. Wè keep under review our commitment to all of our partners in light of their Gurrenl need. Also. we Gonlinue to make one-off donations for specific needs. We continue with our c108e r8lation8hip8 Wrth other churches in Wattord to promote the Christian laith across our town. Toddler Group, which meets on Friday momings. 18 a place where the worfd comes into our ehurch weekl Many who eome along arè a long way from their families across the world. The sessions are a buzz of activity, with the opportunity to build r8lalion8hips. Following Jesus. example of Coming to people, we are able to support people in Ihoir difficulties and thus earn the right to move on lo mallers of faith. In May 2024, a local Fo¢xlbank needed lo ffjlocale rts operation and approached the church lo see if they could base themselves once a week for a popup vegetarian foodbank which caters lor up lo 300 clients on non-voucher basis.
