The principal activity was the carrying out of community projects designed to ehance the awareness of local communities and to support them.

Objects: The Company's Objects Are Specifically Restricted To The Following:to Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Working With All Socially Excluded Groups And Communities In The North West, Including Women, Young People And Particularly Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (bame) Who Are Socially Excluded On The Grounds Of Their Ethnic Origin, Belief Or Creed To Relieve The Needs Of Such People And Assist Them To Integrate Into Society, In Particular By:(i) Providing A Local Network Group That Encourages And Enables Members Of Bame Communities To Participate More Effectively With The Wider Community; (ii) Increasing, Or Co-Ordinating, Opportunities For Members Of Bame Communities To Engage With Service Providers, To Enable Those Providers To Adapt Services To Better Meet The Needs Of That Community;(iii) To Promote And Encourage Social Regeneration Through Equality Access Towards Training, Education, Employment And Enterprise Opportunities For Bame Communities Through Supporting Locally Base, Voluntary Sector Collaboration And Partnerships With Statutory Public And Private Sector Service Providers; (iv) To Provide A Professional Networking, Voluntary Sector Support And Development Forum For All Those Maintaining An Interest In Social Regeneration And Positive Change In The Economic Position Of All Marginalised Communities, Specifically, But Not Exclusively, To Bame Communities;(v) To Develop And Implement Projects And Programmes To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society;4. In Carrying Out Its Objects, The Company Shall Promote Equality Of Opportunity Andoppose Any Form Of Discrimination On Grounds Of Race, Ethnic Origin, Gender, Sexual ,orientation, Age, Disability Or Religion.
