To run educational visits, Sports events and fetes for the sole purpose of providing extracurricular activities for our learners. In particular offering visits to promote the use of the Welsh language. Concerts, shows and raise funds for local and national charities

Staff choose and volunteer to run educational visits during they own time to ensure learners have a varied education – limited trips were offered this financial year due to the effect of the pandemic. However normality is starting to return and this can be seen towards the end of the financial year

Due to the impact of the COVID pandemic, there was a Summary of the main continuation of limited activities and opportunities for learners achievements of the charity during the year during this financial year. A brief synopsis of activities: Raised funds for Velindre, LATCH and Children in Need – non uniform days Duke of Edinburgh membership and Out of Bounds course End of year trips for whole school English trip to the theatre Collection of monies for Glanllyn for September 2022

The reserves are mainly held whilst awaiting invoice. – in particular Brief statement of the Glanllyn visit (September 2022) charity’s policy on reserves Received donation to pay for minibus instalments.

Reserves from the Christmas Fair and fundraising specifically for school Grant towards supporting the Welsh Language.

Section F Other optional information

The effect of the pandemic was significant and meant that many of usual extracurricular activities were unable to be run. The school is excited at the prospect of reinstating trips to support learner wellbeing and education during the next few years, as and when the Local Authority risk assessment allows. The latter part of this year trips have returned.
