Para 1.20 | April/May 2022 Annual Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam conducted at 5 places to promote spiritual health among the attendees and to preserve culture and tradition. The event helped many to cope and improve their mental wellbeing due to distress caused by Covid pandemic. Free vegetarian food distributed to all attendees. Also provide a stage for performing arts at these events to encourage traditional Indian cultural art forms. Sep/Oct/Nov 2022 Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam conducted at 4 places to promote spiritual health among the attendees and to preserve culture and tradition. The event helped many to cope and improve their mental wellbeing due to distress caused by Covid pandemic. Free vegetarian food distributed to all attendees. October 2022 Frist Prajna Alumni was conducted to reward all students with certificates and awards to honour their achievements. Some fun activities involving parents were organised to lighten the atmosphere. The hardworking children were applauded and given much needed all-round boost for their efforts. January 2023 Annual Sri Goda Kalyanam conducted with wider audience to promote spiritual health among the attendees and to preserve culture and tradition. Free Vegetarian meal was served for all the attendees. Provide a stage for performing arts at these events to encourage traditional Indian cultural art forms. Additionally, we conduct online Prajna classes whereby, we educate children with |
personality development. Students learn about ancient Indian heritage and culture. We teach Hindu customs and traditions which are significantly very important. We guide students with proper direction thus empowering the society they are living in. The focus is to have mutual benefit for the children and the society where everyone live with harmony and support each other.

Structure, Governance And Management
Jeeyar Educational Trust UK was created by a trust deed dated 16 January 2011. It was accepted as a charity by the Charity Commission on 20 January 2011.
The Jeeyar Educational Trust is governed by the trust deed.
The day to day running of Jeeyar Educational Trust is performed by the Trustees. The Trustees are appointed according to the trust deed.
The board of trustees is made up of permanent and non permanent member. HHSri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami or his nominee or successor is a permanent trustee.
New Trustees are required to undergo an induction programme including an introduction to the objectives, scope and policies of the Charity, Charity Commission information and trustee responsibilities.

Objectives And Activities
The objectives for which the charity was established are the relief of need for the public benefit in the UK and India in accordance with Hindu religious principles by:
A. Promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of those affected by blindness or cancers, their families and carers in particular but not exclusively through the provision of financial assistance, support and particular advice
B. The preservation and protection of good health by the support of medical camps
C. Advancing education in particular but not exclusively by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for improving literacy, conducting seminars, educational camps, workshops and study groups
D. The relief and assistance of people who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble or catastrophe in such ways as the trustees see fit
The Trustees when deciding on the Charity's activities for the year, are mindful of the Charity Commissions guidance on public benefit. The Charity is to support people and their families regardless of gender, faith or personal circumstances.
Achievements And Performance
The Trustees are pleased with the results for the year.
Financial Review
The Trustees have investment policies that they consider will best fulfil the charity's objectives.
The Trustees have no formal policy to maintain a level of reserves, however, they are conscious of their responsibilities and monitor the level of reserves to ensure the charity can meet its liabilities.
Plans For Future Periods
The Trustees plan to continue to promote the Charity and raise funds for its causes.

1 Accounting basis
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with applicable United Kingdom accounting standards and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities' issued in January 2015 (SORP FRS102).
The accounts have been prepared as receipts and payments accounts.
