Under the Constitution of The Polish Language and Cultural Centre in Nottingham, the trustees (members of the Management Commitlee) are appointed through election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Management Committee comprises members elected annually together with specified ex officio members. Successful candidates take office at the close of the general meeting at which they are elected and serve until the close of the subsequent general meeting when a new Management Committee is elected. In addition. the Head Teacher (or nominee) and the Polish Roman Catholic Chaplain in Nottingham serve as ex officio members. The Management Committee also has the power to co-opt other persons onto the Committee where appropriate. All members of the Management Commitlee are required to undergo CRB checks before serving. Objectives and activities The objects of the school shall be to provide education in the Polish language, literature, culture and Iraditions for children and young people and provide a range of opportunities for greater integration within the English community. Rent suitable premises to provide children with a safe and comfortable learning environment. Employ qualified teaching staff to educate children and young people of different ages.

Funds were carefully allocated, allowing us to increase teachers, salaries in line with the national minimum wage while maintaining high-quality educational provision. The cost of leasing the premises increased modestly by approximately 5 %, which was effectively managed, and the school closed the reporting period with a healthy surplus, demonstrating prudent financial management. The charity's policy on reserves The school's policy is to maintain reserves at a level sufficient to safeguard financial stability and operational continuity. At the close of this reporting period, reserves significantly exceeded the target, providing a solid buffer for future planning and unforeseen expenses. Responsibilities and basis of report As the trustees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145{5)(bl of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination.
