Faith In Queens Park Trust¢¢s' Report Aehicvcmcnts and performance Whilst thc impact of Cavid this yew was less signifi¢ant than that of the previous year, it still signifi¢antly affe¢ted our activities. Cricket ￿'aS the least affected activity, as it is able to cary out its activitie% outsid¢ or in large spacial iiiternal areas. During the year, the coaches iiicluded a focus on incorporatiiig mental h¢alth and wellbeing activitie% into the se%sions. All coaches were provided with T-shirts which di%played a positive message, helping to motivate the participant%. Other activities during the year incliided a Famil}, Day and taking the girls to a girls, only tournament, which provided them with the opportunity to comFete against other girls in the local area. Our Lead Coach M'a5 also iiivited to speak on the Local BBC radio station about Faith and plan5 for FIQP'S first summer 5POrt5 festival. Iii addition to these activitie5, a Youth Leadership Prograinme was set up to develop young people to become voliii)teers for the cricket club. Basketball was unable to restart until September of 2021, due to the restrictions laid do￿￿ by the school in whost premises w'e tsperate. Once it restarted. it was open tts juniors and seniors only in the first instance. Until wt were able tts restart, the ¢oa¢hes produced a few videos of themselves demoi)stratii)¥ basketball drills, to enable participants to toiitinue training at home. Despite attempting to hold our annual end of yeai Lelebratioi) via Zoom, we were unable to do sts. Attempts weie also made to hold a competition amoi)gst all players to create a logo for the club, however, due to low take up, this was postponed. On the other hand. Faith Tours were unable to be delivered at all for ihe entire year; we did iry, several times to get the Tours resthrted. but each lime had to cancel and begin once more with rebookings, due to perceived spacing safety, issues in the travelling and ihe tours ihemselves, together with the fact thai schools were reluctant to commit to extemal tours at all as they were preoccupied with recommencing normal full time education and making up for lost time. We did however. in ?021. start taking bookings for the spring terni of 2022, and making mosi of ihe necessary. preparation in order to restart then. This included rebuilding some of the Faith Tours guiding ieams, and organising team training in order to restart in spring 2022 (which restart we did achieve). Fusion Youth Sin¥Tin¥. owing to the advantagFes of Zooin. and to its longstanding collaboration with the Philhatynonia Orchestra s 'Hear and Now, project, was able to continue M'ith no gyap. Fusion had to leam 14 nursery rhymes. many of them unknown to them and was then required to attend the recording studios at The Hat Factory in Luton to record the nursery rhymes to an orchestral backing track.
