Advancing the Sikh faith and religion in the West Midlands area of the UK for the benefit of the public through prayer meetings, lectures and public celebration of Sikh religious festivals and through distribution of literature on Sikhism to enlighten others about the Sikh faith and promoting racial harmony through promotion of knowledge and understanding between different racial groups
Objects: (1) To Advance The Sikh Faith For The Benefit Of The Public In Accordance With The Statements Of Belief Appearing In The Sikh Holy Text Called The Sri Guru Granth Sahib.(2) The Advancement Of Sikhism Mainly, But Not Exclusively, By Means Of Broadcasting Sikh Messages Of An Evangelistic And Teaching Nature.(3) To Advance The Sikh Faith And Religion In The West Midlands Area Of The United Kingdom For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Holding Of Prayer Meetings, Lectures And Public Celebration Of Sikh Religious Festivals And Through The Production And/or Distribution Of Literature On Sikhism To Enlighten Others About The Sikh Faith.(4) To Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Coventry In The West Midlands Area Of The United Kingdom And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.(5) The Promotion Of Racial Harmony For The Public Benefit By: (for Example) (a) Promoting Knowledge And Mutual Understanding Between Different Racial Groups;(b) Advancing Education And Raising Awareness About Different Racial Groups To Promote Good Relations Between Persons Of Different Racial Groups;(c) Working Towards The Elimination Of Discrimination On The Grounds Of Race.
