A Community Association providing facilities and services for the benefit people of Faversham, and the wider East Kent Area.
Objects: “4 The charity’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following:4.1 To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Faversham (Inhabitants) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the Inhabitants and the statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the Inhabitants and in particular to establish, or secure the establishment of, a community centre and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any statutory authority or other person or body) in furtherance of this Object.4.2 To promote such other charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales for the benefit of the Inhabitants and/or of people living in the County of Kent as the directors see fit from time to time. It is also proposed to include a new definition of 'Faversham' in the definitions in Article 2 in the following form:"'Faversham' means Faversham (in the County of Kent) and the neighbourhood as reasonably defined from time to time by the directors of the charity;"
