INDLPENDENT EXMIINER?S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF ARDLEIGH PRE- SCHOOL I report on the accounts of the company for the year ended 31 August 2024, which are set out on pages I to3. Respective responsibilities ot trustees and examiner The trustees (who are also the directors of the company for the purposes of coinpany law) are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The t￿SteeS consider that an audit is not required for this year imder section 144(2) of the Chariti¢s Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. The charity's gross income does not exceed £250,000 and I am an independent person who is reasonably believed by the charity tTUStees to have the requisite ability and practical experience to carry out a competent examination of the accounts. Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subj¢ct to audit und¢r company law and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to: Examine the accounts under Section 145 of the 201 l Act. To follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act. and To state whether particular mattcrs knv¢ com¢ to my attcntion.
