In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity
Commission's guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings.
The Foundation received no monetary donations during the year.
Investment income received during the year has been reinvested as
advised by The Foundations Financial Advisor.
A large proportion of the Foundation’s income has been invested to
secure its long term viability.

Summary of the main . . . : . . The Foundation has made charitable donations to both national and local achievements of the charity harities durina th in [i ‘th it's Constituti during the year charities during the year in line with it's Constitution. Significant highlights included: A further £31,500, making a total of £60,000, donated to Essex Search and Rescue for the completion of their new search and rescue vehicle. £60,000 donated to Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation to underwrite the first year staffing costs of their new Mobile Burns Bus. £50,000 donated to Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for the refurbishment of their Harlow support centre and the first year lease costs for the unit. In addition we have committed to a further £10,000 per annum towards the lease costs for the next four years.

Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner’s statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
