In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity<br>Commission's guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings.<br>The Foundation received no monetary donations during the year.<br>Investment income received during the year has been reinvested as<br>advised by The Foundations Financial Advisor.<br>A large proportion of the Foundation’s income has been invested to<br>secure its long term viability.<br>Summary ofthe main ; 7<br>activities undertaken for the Donations to Charities that meet the Foundations Constitutional<br>public benefit in relation to requirements were made during the year and have continued in the<br>these objects (include within | Current period. The Foundation has made charitable donations to both national and local achievements of the charity harities durina th in [i ‘th it's Constituti during the year charities during the year in line with it's Constitution. Significant highlights included: A further £31,500, making a total of £60,000, donated to Essex Search and Rescue for the completion of their new search and rescue vehicle. £60,000 donated to Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation to underwrite the first year staffing costs of their new Mobile Burns Bus. £50,000 donated to Helen Rollason Cancer Charity for the refurbishment of their Harlow support centre and the first year lease costs for the unit. In addition we have committed to a further £10,000 per annum towards the lease costs for the next four years.
