ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORhUNCE St Mlcha•l's School Kllolo The Foundatlon continued to arrange the SKh)fLsorshlp of 40 students at St MichaeV5 khool, Kllolo. In Tanzanla. In 2019 the Foundatlon a150 took over the admlnlstratlon of 6 additional students sponsored by St Mlthael's Church, Chester Square, London: however slnce 2022 there has been only one student SPDn50red by St Michaefs Chester Square. The Headmastsr of St Mlchaeys School Is Mr Franc15 Malugu. A member of the teachln8 Staff acts as coordlnator with DTCF. In JanuarylFebruary 2023 there were three outbreaks of fire in the 8lrlg sleepinB quarter4 all In daytime. The first two were major fires whlch badty damaged the domltorles tO8etherwlth most of thelr contents (personal property and beds and mattresses). The thlrd fire was more mlnor and qulckly extin8ulshed. The pollce were In￿fved from the beglnnlng but no culprit has been identlfled. Mercifully novorvè was injured. Repair5 were compteted in June; there ha￿ been no further outbreaks. The Trust made a dOn￿￿)n of £5405 towards repai￿ and hxal people and other Schools have made donatlons to help coverthe cost of Items destroyed. The two remalnln8 unsecured lassrooms were fitted wlth windows and doors to make them fulfy secure: thls was achleved wlth grant of £ILKxI from DTCF In September 2021. With the arr￿31 of the Pandemic. schools were shut across Uganda. These were gradually re-opened In a t[e￿d fashlon from Aprll 2021.
